Tennis One head coach is the extremely active Marcel Pietrasik. Originating from Europe He began his tennis journey at the age of five. Being a top junior player playing in Victoria, Marcel decided to begin traveling around Australia taking part in both international and national ranking tournaments. When he was 18, he collected 32 trophies in his junior successes. When he made the transition to seniors, he decided that the coaching profession was his true passion was and found it to be very satisfying.
Marcel is the only player to have the top Tennis Australia qualification, Level 2 Club Professional, recognised by the ITF (International Tennis Federation). With more than a decade’s coaching experience, he’s excited to share his skills as well as his knowledge and techniques about the game. Marcel’s love for coaching extends from organizing entertaining and enjoyable lessons for kids, to organising technique- and performance-based instruction for elite athletes who participate in tournaments.
